You know, I can only think of like 2 things off the top of my head that Carla Gugino has done since Son in Law...but thats ok, because she will always be Rebecca Warner to me. Son in Law (which is a classic, if you haven't seen it you totally have to) came out in 1993, and my girl Carla still looks great!

Why did poor Wills have to end up looking IDENTICAL to his father? He is a good looking guy in some ways, but he definitely takes more after his homely father than his gorgeous mother. The balding spot on the top of his 25 year old head is only the beginning of the evidence. Who knew Harry would end up being the good looking one??

"W"

So I guess filming begins next week on the new Oliver Stone movie called "W" about none other than GW 43. Josh Brolin will play the President, and Elizabeth Banks will play Laura. There is one major character that has not yet been cast. Dick Cheney. Stone has been behind a few other controversial politician-based films, such as JFK (1991) and Nixon (1995) and is apparently embracing the buzz of controversy surrounding this film as well. In contrast to the other films that he has done about Presidents, this will be the first film based on a living President and will be the first to premiere while the subject of the film is still sitting in office. It is set to be released late this year, possibly as early as October. I find this a little funny. A film that will most likely paint a less than desirable picture of the President and his work for our country over the last 8 years, is set to debut right on the doorstep of the General Elections. Funny.

Based on an initial release of the script, the film will feature several moments that may be intended to remind us of how Bush is not the most graceful political figure we have ever seen. One example of the scenes included is the Commander-in-Chief nearly choking on a pretzel while watching a football game. Nice.

We'll have to see I guess. Maybe it's supposed to be a comedy??

For some reason, I hope these two can stick it out together. I think they make a super cute couple.

Both are incredible performers and seem to have some staying power. Hopefully the road doesn't tear them apart. BTW, I am in love with the new tattoo that Rihanna got on her neck. It is a trail of stars and is super cute. I don't think I'd personally want it or be able to pull it off for that matter, but it looks pretty damn good on her.

I am so unbelievably excited for tonight's episode of LOST. I can't even begin to tell you. Tonight's episode is the last before the 3 hour season finale. We are going to learn more about John Locke's past in this episode. Rumor has it that we will see the birth of John, and maybe gain some insight as to why he is so 'special'. Geri has been through it all through the course of her career. She started as the curvy pop figure, moved on to the svelte political woman and is now the ultra fit, hot mamma. I don't think there is any way she could look much better than she does right now. Good for her. I have to tell you, I was was lucky enough to attend the Spice Girls show in February in Detroit. It was AMAZING. I cried. They are great performers...like thier music or not...I bet I couldn't find one person who went to the show and was bored. GIRL POWER!!

I think though in reality it is good that they don't tell us. It just furthers my new theory though that it is all rigged...Whatever. I am so totally over American Idol (until next week...)

The last 4 standing are Jason Castro, David Cook, Syesha Mercado, and David Archuleta. One of them will be going home tonight. I am a Jason Castro fan, but he had a rough night last night. He sounded a little odd during his first song, a rendition of Bob Marley's 'I Shot the Sheriff' and forgot some of the words while singing Bob Dylan's "Mr Tambourine Man'. It was definately a rough night, but I don't think it was anywhere near as bad as the judges did. I have always had faith that the show was really in the voter's hands, but I think I am finally seeing this year that the judges already have their winner picked by this point and will do anything and everything in their power to sway the viewers in their direction. I think Syesha is the weakest link, but am afraid Jason Castro will get the axe tonight.

Scottsdale police arrested DMX at his home yesterday after they claim he broke 100 MPH at three separate checkpoints back in January.According to police, stationary cameras first snapped DMX in triple digits around 8:24 PM . One minute later he was spotted again -- this time doing 114. Three minutes later he was clocked doing 101 ... and he did all that in a 1966 Chevy Nova II. DMX faces charges of racing on a highway, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment, three counts of criminal speed and driving on a suspended license.

Is there no statute on speeding? I guess I was always under the impression that you had to be pulled over right away...scary.

My idol at Evil Beet says that a reliable sources are reporting a Mother's Day Weekend wedding for Ashlee n' Pete. My best guess is that this is because she is knocked up and about to start busting out...but I recall seeing a video not too long ago of Ashlee appearing to be totally wasted during a radio show visit. She had also gotten a brand spankin new tat on her left inner wrist the night before. Last I checked, both booze and tats were frowned upon during pregnancy. Either she is not pregnant and punking us all, or she is truly her sister's sister. You tell me which you think it is.

Mariah,

I know that you have been lonely for a long time now. Your first marriage ended amidst allegations of psychological abuse. A lot of men have said a lot of crazy things about you (all of which were completely not true, I'm sure) and you have spent time in a mental hospital. You did a movie called Glitter (nuff said).

It is because of all these things that I am going to give you a pass on marrying someone you have known for a month and is 9 years younger than you. I cannot however give you a pass on the so seemingly obvious thought that this guy is looking for one thing from you. It starts with Pay and ends with Check. I am guessing that Wild'n Out doesn't pay all that well.

Give me a call sometime and we can discuss how I really feel about this marriage. I don't like to put too many things in writing that surround subjects as sensitive as this one.

Ever wonder what a volcano spewing ash 20 miles into the air would look like? Wonder no more...

The long-dormant Chaiten volcano in Chile send ash about 20 miles into the air on Tuesday. Thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes in the effected areas. Residents have been shoveling ash like it were snow and pictures show them sporting some pretty trendy surgical masks. Might have to get me one of those...

Winehouse arrested...again

This girl can't seem to stay out of trouble. Amy Winehouse was arrested after a scheduled meeting wtih the London police for alleged posession of a controlled substance. She was caught on video smoking crack and snotring cocaine. I know, it's a total shock to me too. Too bad. She is really talented. Doesn't she know that crack is whack?
